Immigration
“The immigration policy of the Trump administration is rooted in bigotry, hate and xenophobia. These policies have resulted in over 69,000 migrant children – primarily from Central America – being separated from their parent(s) for months, and in some cases permanently. Tragically, the traumatic effects of separating children from their parents will last a lifetime. Amnesty International released a statement on June 8, 2018 declaring that the US ‘policy of separating children from their parents is nothing short of torture.’”

Learn The Facts About the Trump Administration’s Racist Border Policies
Donald Trump’s wall was never just a wall. Racism has been a part of his platform from the beginning: in 2015, he said that our southern border was overrun by “criminals, drug dealers, rapists,” and doubled down on that claim many times during his first campaign. Journalist Jorge Ramos attempted to question him on those comments, and Trump responded by having security remove Ramos from the press briefing while saying, “Go back to Univision!”, which empowered a white man in the room to yell “get out of my country” at Ramos.
